It Didn't Mean Anything, I Swear!

Except that it DID mean something & it still does.

I've been cheating on my blog with another writing relationship. A few months ago, an opportunity presented itself & although I didn't want to give up the good thing I have going here, I thought I'd test the waters. So I jumped in.

As with any new relationship, it's taking up a lot of my free time. And even when it's not taking up time, it's taking up mental space. But it's also giving me much in return. It's exciting, challenging, confidence-building & thought-provoking. It's giving me a chance to break out of the usual routine & spice things up. It's allowing me to share my ideas & be respected for them. And one day, it could turn into a "happily ever after" dream come true.

We're still finding out what we have in common & which areas may become issues. It may be too soon to tell, but this could be true love! I'll keep you posted.

In the meantime, since you never forget your first love, I'll be back here soon with some more stories. I've got a few good ones ready to go!

Dreamily,

Fill 'er Up

I just paid $4.09 per gallon for gas. This is insane! When is it going to end?! The price is rising at such an alarming rate, I may have to get a second job just to pay for the gas to get to my first job.

I did get a very nice windshield wash though. I can't remember the last time that happened. Maybe gas station owners are feeling sorry for customers right now so they've gone old school with the free window wash.

Seeing clearly,
