Signed, Sealed, Delivered

The deed is done! I have cast my vote in Election 08.

Oregon's voting process is done by mail so we get our ballots a few weeks before the official election day. I must admit, it was fairly surreal to finally see the candidates' names on the ballot after all this time. Too much time. Does the lead-up to an election really have to be two years long? It seems excessive. Just sayin'.

Is it November 4th Yet?

I don't think I'm going to make it through the next month! I'm exhausted by the non-stop politics (& now economic bail-out discussions) on every TV channel, magazine cover and radio station. It's everywhere. And now it's invading my email in-box!

I know I've got an upcoming election blog in me somewhere, but for now, I need a political nap.
